Near the summit, the path hugs a narrow 3-foot-wide ledge carved into the rock wall before opening dramatically to the amphitheater holding Delicate Arch. For sunset photography, arrive 90 minutes before dusk to secure a spot along the bowl rim.

Beyond Landscape Arch, the trail transitions into a primitive scrambles across narrow slickrock fins, visiting Partition, Navajo, and Double O Arches. Only experienced hikers equipped with sturdy boots and ample water should attempt the full 7.2-mile Primitive Loop.
